This collaboration provided a fully hosted matchday experience designed around access, inclusion, and shared moments – bringing people together through sport and community.
This month, we gave back to these amazing charities who are making a huge impact across Northamptonshire.
At The Qube, we believe businesses have a responsibility to support the communities they’re part of.
Partnering with the Tempeo Foundation allowed us to help create experiences that bring people together, remove barriers, and make a genuine difference locally.

The Qube Carbon Reduction Plan

We recognise how important it is for us to make sure we are committed to reducing our carbon emissions and the impact we have on the environment in everything we do.
Our new Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) sets out how we will continue to improve the ways in which we use our resources to ensure the least harm to our environment.
Each year this grows in importance as our awareness is raised on the critical importance of changing our behaviours regarding climate change and sustainability.
Legislation and regulation reflect this priority, and we are committed to ensuring we meet our requirements and where possible exceed expectations.
Aside from the moral and environmental case for taking action to tackle climate change there are many other drivers for The Qube to reduce our emissions. These include:
- Leadership – Taking strategic action towards reducing carbon emissions will ensure that we lead the way in developing effective mechanisms to tackle climate change. This will help stimulate low carbon transitions across the regions in which we operate.
- Cost savings – With increasing pressure on all businesses to cut costs, reducing the amount spent on energy bills is a key driver for lowering our energy consumption.
- Reputation – With stretching national targets, there is increasing pressure on businesses to be seen as “doing their bit” and playing a leadership role on climate change action. Failure to act could lead to reputational risks and adversely affect the company’s public image.
We look forward to publishing our full Carbon Reduction Plan shortly.

What “Flexibility” Really Means Over the Life of a Building
Why this idea needs clarifying
Flexibility is one of the most frequently used words in construction, particularly across education, healthcare and public-sector estates. It appears in funding bids, feasibility studies and consultant reports as a form of reassurance. A building is described as flexible and the implication is that it will be able to cope with whatever the future brings.
For estates and procurement teams, that reassurance matters. Decisions are made in environments where certainty is limited. Student numbers change. Service delivery models evolve. Regulations shift. Capital funding is often phased rather than committed in a single allocation. Buildings are expected to serve organisations for decades, not just delivery programmes…
