January Recap from #TeamQube

When Lauren asked me to write this piece, first thought… great idea, we are always looking at new and engaging content for our growing newsletter… Second thought – I don’t have it all figured out in my head yet and that’s ok…

But, as I am sat on a train down to London for some pretty exciting meetings, here goes:

2025 moved fast — but what the team delivered was exceptional. Our biggest project to date, executed brilliantly, and a platform that’s already opening doors to exciting new opportunities. Thank you to everyone who made that happen.

As we look to 2026, the focus is clear. We’ve learned, refined, and reset. Stronger processes, a fully embedded team, and a shared understanding of who we are, what we stand for, and where we’re heading. With that foundation in place, we’re ready to take on bigger, more technical projects with confidence.

The ambition is there. The capability is there. The future is ours to shape.

Let’s go, #TeamQube.

The finish line is in sight on what has been a truly fantastic scheme, and we’re looking forward to sharing the final stages in the next few weeks.

A huge well done to Team Qube, in particular the site team and our wider supply chain and sub-contractors for the continued commitment and collaboration.

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Kelly Mann MCIOB to ‘Head of Project Delivery’ at The Qube.

Managing Director, Jordan Spittle, said:

See Oldfield School’s STEM facility come to life in a time lapse

The Qube proudly signed a framework agreement with Oldfield School in Bath marking the beginning of an ambitious and transformative project. Tasked with delivering a cutting-edge food science and design technology block, our goal was clear: provide a full turnkey solution that aligned with the school’s future-facing vision, while ensuring minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.

The result: a sleek, double-storey 270m² facility featuring a modern mono-pitched roof, fire-treated cedar cladding, and solar-glazed aluminium doors and windows—purpose-built for future-ready learning.

Key spaces within the new block include:

• Two science classrooms
• Two food technology classrooms
• A fully equipped prep room
• A dedicated office
• Two WCs

All spaces were designed to enhance both the student and staff experience, supporting the school’s growing focus on STEM education.

Huge congratulations to Jack Spittle who celebrates 2 years at The Qube this month.

After retiring from a professional rugby career spanning 8 years, Jack’s collaborative, methodical and energetic approach to construction and project management has helped him build excellent working relationships with clients and supply chain partners alike.
